Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical conditions, movement patterns, and health history to develop personalized exercise and wellness plans.
Provide evidence-based kinesiology services, including therapeutic exercises, movement analysis, and lifestyle recommendations to support clients in achieving their fitness and wellness goals.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within our multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive client care and optimal outcomes.
Monitor clients' progress and adjust exercise plans as needed to achieve health and fitness goals.
Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications to enhance their overall well-being.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans and progress reports.
Adhere to all professional, ethical, and legal standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and privacy.
Stay informed about advancements in kinesiology and wellness practices, and participate in professional development activities.
Requirements:
Licensed Kinesiologist in Canada, with current registration in good standing.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Kinesiology or a related field from an accredited institution.
Proven experience in providing effective kinesiology services and promoting overall health and fitness.
Strong assessment skills, with the ability to create individualized exercise plans based on client needs and goals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and work effectively within a team.
Empathy, compassion, and a genuine interest in helping clients achieve their health and fitness goals.
A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest research and trends in kinesiology and wellness.
Strong organizational skills to manage caseload efficiently and maintain accurate records.
